人生、エスカレーター式に決まる。レールの上に乗っかる。小学校入試の必要性については、以前より事あるごとに取りざたされている。これは、遊び盛りの子供の自由を奪ってまで勉強をさせ、入試に受かるためのテクニックを教え込むことが本当に必要なのか、子供が幸せになれるのか、という老婆心でもあるような気がする。果たして、小学校入試を経た子供達はその後どのような人生を送っているのだろうか。現在、教育の劣化とか学級崩壊が日々報道されている。その都度、私立にはそのような心配がないと言われている。なるほどな、と思った。何故ならば、小学校入試というフィルタを通った子供達が集まっているわけで、当然親もそれなりのステータスの人だろう。となると、いわゆるDQN系が入り込む余地は少なく、必然的に理想的な環境になるのかもしれない。将来いい大学、いい会社に入るためではなく、実は子供にとってベターな環境を与えるための試験と言えるのかな。
